The New River Valley Alumni Chapter will be hosting the 3rd annual Wine Festival at Virginia Tech on Saturday, June 4, 2011 from 12 - 5pm, rain or shine. The festival will feature wineries from around the region, food and beverage concessions, specialty items from local vendors and live music by Surrender Dorothy. The event will be held on the grounds of the Holtzman Alumni Center, adjacent to the Inn at Virginia Tech.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the gate
Buy advanced tickets online at www.nrvhokies.com. Advanced tickets will also be available at the Vintage Cellar and Kroger, both located on South Main St. in Blacksburg. A $5 non-wine tasting pass is available and those under 18 years of age are admitted free.

Table Sponsorship includes tickets and chairs for 8 people under a covered area with a table. It is also accompanied by a gift basket full of cheese, crackers, fruit, and other goodies, all for $250.
All proceeds go toward our chapter scholarship fund, which benefits New River Valley area high school students attending Virginia Tech.
Advanced tickets online are sold out. You must purchase the tickets at Vintage Cellar or Kroger in advance, or pay at the gate during the festival.
